After last week’s Eight-Finals and this week’s Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals are officially coming in the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup, with the best-of-three series from where the two finalists will come out.
After respectively beating Prometey Slobozhanske and Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, JL Bourg-en-Bresse and Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul will clash in the first semifinal.
The French team ended the Regular Season 1st in Group B, while the Turkish black-and-white side surprisingly eliminated Gran Canaria and Hapoel Tel Aviv after ending the regular season in the 6th position in Group A.
In the other semifinal, London Lions and Paris Basketball will face each other once again after the French team was successful twice during the regular season.
Sam Dekker’s team found the semifinal after beating Turk Telekom Ankara and U-BT Cluj-Napoca in the Eight-Finals and Quarter-Finals after finishing 3rd in Group A. The rulers of the regular season, where they ended up 1st in Group A at 17-1, eliminated Joventut Badalona in the Quarter-Finals.
