Jonah Matthews missed the game-winner for the Istanbul side

NINERS Chemnitz hosted Beşiktaş GAIN in Round 12 of the BKT EuroCup, with the game going down to the wire in Germany.

The Turkish team fought back from a 14-point deficit in the final quarter, tied the score, and had a chance to win it at the buzzer. However, Jonah Matthews missed the potential game-winning shot, allowing Chemnitz to prevail 97–95.

Amadou Sow led the hosts with 27 points, while Nike Sibande added 13. Kevin Yebo finished with 11 points, and Ty Brewer chipped in 10.

For Beşiktaş, Ante Žižić posted a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Vitto Brown and Jonah Matthews scored 20 points apiece.

With the victory, Chemnitz recorded its third consecutive win and improved to 6–6 in Group B, while Beşiktaş dropped to 8–4 after suffering a second straight defeat.
