Vasilije Micic had 16 points and Krunoslav Simon 12 points plus five assists as Anadolu Efes defeated Galatasaray 87 – 82 in a preseason game for the Gloria Cup tournament.
Rodrigue Beaubois and Sertac Sanli added 12 points apiece for Efes while Bryant Dunston finished with 11 points.
Brock Motum led Galatasaray with 19 points. Daryl Macon had 17 points plus seven rebounds and Yigit Arslan scored 17 points as well for the losing squad that was betrayed by its 17 turnovers, seven more than its opponent.
In France, LDLC ASVEL got its fifth win of their preseason, this time over Roanne (81-79). Norris Cole with 19 points and Allerik Freeman with 18 were the top scorers of the winners.
