Dzanan Musa suffered a knee injury and updated his status following the Dubai game on Monday.
“Nothing serious. Only a scare! Will be back in few weeks InShaAllah,” he wrote in an Instagram story.
After putting up seven points in just over eight minutes, the 26-year-old winger was forced to an early exit in the second quarter of Round 1 of the 2025-26 Regular Season of the AdmiralBet ABA League, opposite Split in Coca-Cola Arena. The knee injury initially seemed serious, prompting concerns about a lengthier absence.
The two-time champion previously launched his sixth EuroLeague campaign and first with Dubai, averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest over two appearances, helping in a 1-1 start to the team’s maiden journey in Europe’s premier club continental competition.
Musa is a veteran of 130 EuroLeague appearances, spanning from three previous years at Real Madrid to a brief spell with Anadolu Efes in 2021 and his introduction with Cedevita during the 2015-16 installment. From 2018 to 2020, he made his way to 54 NBA games with the Brooklyn Nets after being drafted with the 29th overall pick.
The team coached by Jurica Golemac resumes action on Friday, visiting Olympiacos at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, SEF. Besides the most recent addition, Danilo Andjusic, Aleksa Avramovic, Mouhammadou Jaiteh, and Nate Mason are also on the injury list.
