At the top of the second double-game week of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, Panathinaikos Aktor has cleared Kendrick Nunn to return to action.
The 30-year-old guard sat out the recent Derby of the Eternal Enemies opposite Olympiacos in Round 2 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season due to a knee injury. Following Sunday’s game, he rejoined team practices and was confirmed as available for a meeting with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Telekom Center Athens on Wednesday evening.
With the Greens entering the two-game week at 2-1, Nunn contributed 20.3 points, 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.3 steals per contest over three appearances in his third EuroLeague journey. A veteran of 78 games played in Europe’s premier club continental competition, his efforts combined with the 2023-24 championship run and being named Most Valuable Player of the 2024-25 season. Earlier in his career, he logged 212 NBA games, spread between the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Washington Wizards.
In contrast to the reigning MVP bouncing back, 20-year-old Alexandros Samodurov was ruled out after fracturing the middle finger of his right hand during the game opposite the archrivals. He joined Mathias Lessort on the injury list of the team coached by Ergin Ataman. For ASVEL, sitting at 1-2, Thomas Heurtel and Shaquille Harrison are out.
Moving to Round 5 and the bottom half of the double-game week, Panathinaikos visits Anadolu Efes at Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center and ASVEL welcomes Virtus Bologna at Villeurbanne’s Astroballe on Friday.
