Nikola Jokic scored 43 points got six rebounds and dished out five assists but the shorthanded Denver Nuggets lost 112 – 99 to the Boston Celtics.

It was Jokic’s third game with more than 40 points in a month for the Nuggets that were missing five players including starters Gary Harris, Will Barton and Paul Millsap.

Facu Campazzo had his most productive output in the season so far, scoring 15 points for a second straight game and sending a season-high eight assists to his teammates. Vlatko Cancar scored two points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo flirted with the triple-double (34 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, along with five steals) in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ 113 – 124 loss to the Toronto Raptors. The Bucks, that were without Jrue Holiday, are now on a four-game losing streak.

 

Fred Van Vleet scored 33 for the Raptors that saw Kyle Lowry exiting the game in the third quarter with an injury.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 112 – 104 with Dennis Schroder scoring 24 points. Marc Gasol added 11 points and five rebounds for the Anthony Davis-less Lakers.

Ricky Rubio posted 13 points plus eight assists for the Timberwolves.
