Bojan Bogdanovic lifted the Jazz to victory over the Nuggets with a new career-high

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a new career-high of 48 points to pace the Utah Jazz past the Denver Nuggets 127-120 on Friday, as the Jazz won their fourth straight.

Bogdanovic went 16 of 23 from the field, also including a new career-high eight three-pointers, along with 8 rebounds for the Jazz (49-18).

“I’m playing better. I’m shooting the ball better,” said the Croatian forward. “So I’m getting in the right shape in the right moment right before the playoffs.”

Adding up to his efforts, Rudy Gobert left the court with 14 points and  9 rebounds for the Jazz, while on the other end of the court, Nikola Jokic flirted with triple-double numbers for the Nuggets (44-23) with 24 points, 13 assists and 9 rebounds.

Nikola Vucevic posted 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists as the Chicago Bulls (28-39) beat the Boston Celtics (35-32) 121-99, although their playoffs hopes are waining. Evan Fournier added 17 points for the Celtics.

The Dallas Mavericks (39-28) cruised past the Cleveland Cavaliers (21-46) with a 110-90 win to remain in fifth in the Western Conference standings and Luka Doncic paced his team to victory with 24 points, 8 rebounds. Cedi Osman fell not far behind for the Cavs, with 22 points and 7 assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo also flirted with a triple-double as the Milwaukee Bucks (43-24) got the job done over the Houston Rockets (16-51) with a 147-133 win. The Greek Freak had 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists, as the Bucks have tied the Brooklyn Nets for the second place in the Eastern Conference.

Goran Dragic had 23 points coming from the bench as the Miami Heat (36-31) prevailed over the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-47) 121-112, to move back to the sixth position in the Eastern Conference. Ricky Rubio was among the key contributors for the Timberwolves with 16 points, 9 assists and Juancho Hernangomez had 8 points coming from the bench.

Jusuf Nurkic had 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the Portland Trail Blazers (38-29) beat the Los Angeles Lakers (37-30) 106-101 to get the tiebreaker in the Western Conference as the regular season reaches its end.
