Series going to 2-1 was the theme of the latest batch of NBA Playoffs games

Luka Doncic finished Game 3 with 44 points plus nine rebounds and nine assists, but the Dallas Mavericks were stopped by the Los Angeles Clippers, 118-108. The Slovenian also got involved in a brief skirmish with Patrick Beverley in the first half. German Maxi Kleber logged 14 points and Latvian Kristaps Porzingis was held to nine points on Friday. The guests, slicing the NBA Playoffs series to 2-1, featured French Nicolas Batum at eight points and Croatian Ivica Zubac at two points.

The Atlanta Hawks cruised to the 105-94 victory over the New York Knicks and to the 2-1 lead in the first-round series with European assets combining for 40 points. Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic was responsible for 15 points, Swiss Clint Capela registered a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double, and Italian Danilo Gallinari added 12 points. On the opposite end, French Frank Ntilikina was held off the board in limited action.

Elsewhere, French Evan Fournier representing the Old Continent had 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal as the Boston Celtics beat the Brooklyn Nets, 125-119. Teammate Jayson Tatum carried the offense with 50 points with his side drawing back to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
