Luka Doncic setting his 2021-22 personal best at 33 points was not enough for the Dallas Mavericks

The Miami Heat added on their impressive start to the 2021-22 NBA Regular Season with yet another win on the road, 125-110, against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday evening.

With both Latvian Kristaps Porzingis and German Maxi Kleber out, Slovenian Luka Doncic got to a season-high 33 points with 10/24 field goals, also registered five assists and three rebounds in the first home loss of 2021-22. French Frank Ntilikina logged four points but Serbian Boban Marjanovic did not score in limited action. Turkish Omer Yurtseven managed to put up two points and two rebounds in garbage time for the winning side.

Giannis Antetokounmpo went for 28 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, and four blocks as the Milwaukee Bucks routed the Detroit Pistons, 117-89. Fellow starter and brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo had nine points. Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili added five points, but the third Greek of the night, Giorgos Kalaitzakis did not score in eight minutes. French Killian Hayes finished with eight points, four assists, and three rebounds at the losing end.

French star Rudy Gobert was responsible for 12 points, 20 rebounds, and four blocks helping the Utah Jazz earn the win, 119-113, over the Sacramento Kings. Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic threw in 20 more points sinking 7/11 from the field, including a couple of triples. Coming off the bench for the visitors, Ukrainian Alex Len had four points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.

The Houston Rockets were edged by the Los Angeles Lakers, 119-117, as Turkish Alperen Sengun recorded six points, four assists, and four rebounds in his first NBA start replacing German Daniel Theis, sidelined with a toe injury. Spanish Usman Garuba did not play.

Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas posted a 23-point, 14-rebound double-double for the New Orleans Pelicans in the loss, 112-100, to the Phoenix Suns. Both Czech Tomas Satoransky and Spanish Willy Hernangomez were kept out of the rotation.
