The 2022-23 NBA Regular Season is here, and the first two victories of the year arrived from last season’s finalists.

The Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 126-117, while the Golden State Warriors, which were celebrated with the Ring Ceremony before the game, won 123-109 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

First, Joe Mazzulla – which is the youngest Boston Celtics head coach since Bill Russell – got the win in his coaching debut with the team, mainly thanks to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The former had a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds, and the latter scored the same amount.

On the losing side, Joel Embiid and James Harden were the best ones from the 76ers. The 28-year-old center had 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists in 37 minutes, but he also recorded 6 turnovers. The former Brooklyn Nets player, instead, ended the game with 35 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.

The 2021-22 NBA Champions, instead, found their first victory of the season against the Los Angeles Lakers with a great performance by Steph Curry, who ended the game with 33 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals.

Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Jordan Poole combined for 50 points, helping Steve Kerr’s team get the victory. Draymond Green was in the starting five and closed with 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The purple-and-yellow opponents had a very tough night shooting from three-point (10/40) and concentrated most of their offensive possessions on the Davis-James-Westbrook trio.

LeBron went really close to a triple-double with 31 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists. Anthony Davis had a good opening night, scoring 27 points and capturing 6 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook had a double-double of 19 points and 11 assists.
