Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks struggled against the Washington Wizards before ultimately taking a 104-101 win. It was the first game of the Bucks vs. Khris Middleton after the team traded him to the Wizards.
Antetokounmpo had his second-lowest scoring game this season with 18 points, dealing with foul trouble. He had two fouls in the first quarter and reached four with 8:11 remaining in the third period. He was fouled out with 3:36 left in the game.
Alex Sarr delivered 22 points and seven rebounds for the Wizards. Bilal Coulibaly had seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Middleton finished with 12 points and five rebounds.
Fresh off his first All-Star Game, Alperen Sengun posted a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds to push the Houston Rockets past the Minnesota Timberwolves 121 – 115.
It was the 32th double-double for the Turkish center this season.
Franz Wagner had 25 points and six rebounds but it wasn’t enough for the Orlando Magic who fell to Memphis Grizzlies 104 – 105.
Santi Aldama provided the Grizzlies with 11 points and nine rebounds.
