Couple of interesting games, couple of great performances from European players at last night’s NBA action.
Victor Wembanyama stood out, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 139–122 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
Frenchman scored 28 points and collected 15 rebounds, but also dished six assists and made four blocks. Wemby’s compatriot Max Raynaud stood out for the Kings with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Elsewhere, Chicago Bulls fell to Detroit Pistons 110–126, but Guerschon Yabusele shined, almost reaching a triple-double. Former Real Madrid player finished the game with 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while Matas Buzelis scored 15 points for the Bulls as well.
New York Knicks survived the drama with Houston Rockets and won 108–106, with OG Anunoby scoring 20 points, while Alperen Sengun scored 16 on the other side, but also grabbed six rebounds and six assists.
Miami Heat beat Memphis Grizzlies 136–120, with Kasparas Jakucionis scoring 12 points with five assists and Pelle Larsson adding 10 points.
Last but not least, Karlo Matkovic chipped in 12 points in New Orleans Pelicans’ 126–111 victory over Philadelphia 76ers, as former Partizan player Cam Payne scored five points for the losing side.
