Last night’s NBA action featured several European players in the spotlight, but it was Luka Doncic who stole the show.
The Slovenian star led the Los Angeles Lakers to a convincing 129-101 road win over the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.
Doncic finished with 26 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, while LeBron James added 22 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. For the Warriors, Brazilian guard Gui Santos led the scoring with 14 points.
Elsewhere, the Miami Heat beat the Houston Rockets 115-105. Pelle Larsson impressed with 20 points in 34 minutes, while Simone Fontecchio and Kasparas Jakucionis did not score, and Nikola Jovic missed the game due to a back injury. For Houston, Turkish center Alperen Sengun posted 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists in nearly 35 minutes, with Clint Capela adding seven points, three rebounds, and one assist.
The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 109-93. Moussa Diabate recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, along with five assists. Tuomani Camara scored 12 points with six rebounds for Portland, while Vit Krejci added four points and two assists.
The Toronto Raptors edged the Washington Wizards 134-125 on the road. Jakob Poeltl posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Sandro Mamukelashvili added seven points and three rebounds. For Washington, Bilal Coulibaly scored 14 points with five rebounds, and Tristan Vukcevic contributed 13 points, shooting 3-of-5 from three-point range.
Finally, the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Utah Jazz 115-105. Karlo Matkovic contributed eight points, six rebounds, and five assists in the victory.
