The 2025-26 NBA Regular Season enters its final stretch with a dense injury report impacting several European stars ahead of Friday’s slate. The spotlight falls on crypto.com Arena, where the Los Angeles Lakers may rest Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic.

The 27-year-old Ljubljana native is listed as questionable with left hamstring soreness. Notably, he must log at least 20 minutes in four of the Lakers‘ final nine games to remain eligible for season-ending awards. While Rui Hachimura is also questionable, the Lakers have already ruled out Marcus Smart and Adou Thiero. Their opponents, the Brooklyn Nets, led by Spanish head coach Jordi Fernandez, will be without Russian Egor Demin and Israeli Danny Wolf.

In San Francisco, the Washington Wizards face the Golden State Warriors with their entire European contingent, France’s Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sarr, alongside Serbia’s Tristan Vukcevic, all carrying questionable tags due to various lower-body ailments. The Warriors remain without Quinten Post.

Meanwhile, at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics continue to play without Montenegrin big man Nikola Vucevic, while Portuguese center Neemias Queta is questionable for the clash against the Atlanta Hawks due to a right thumb sprain.

Further west, the Portland Trail Blazers have listed Czechia’s Vit Krejci as doubtful against the Dallas Mavericks, making his return unlikely. In Oklahoma City, French forward Guerschon Yabusele is questionable for the Chicago Bulls despite returning Wednesday.

France’s Noa Essengue, Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Jusuf Nurkic, Spain’s Santi Aldama, Croatia’s Ivica Zubac, Switzerland’s Yanic Konan Niederhauser, and Finland’s Lauri Markkanen are all officially out for Friday, with several sidelined for the remainder of the season.
