Timofey Mozgov admits feeling left out after his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates completely exclude him from their recent ten-year championship anniversary vacation in Europe

Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov expressed his disappointment after being left out of the team’s recent ten-year championship anniversary reunion in Europe.

Hosted by LeBron James, the luxury multi-country vacation featured core members of the historic 2015–16 roster, including Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, and Tristan Thompson, with Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova joining the group later. Despite playing in 13 games during that legendary postseason run, the 39-year-old Russian big was completely omitted from the planning.

Speaking with the Russian outlet Sport Express on Friday, the veteran center revealed that nobody from the title-winning squad text messaged or called him to join the summer trip. “Yes, I saw the video of that party. No one wrote or called me. If I’d been invited, I’d have gladly joined. Of course, I’d have loved to be there too, to drink some wine,” he answered when asked if an invitation had been extended.

The exclusive European gathering also sparked significant social media drama when 40-year-old Smith claimed that Kyrie Irving had been invited to the reunion but ‘ghosted’ the team. Irving did not fuel the tension further, but instead posted a quiet appreciation graphic on his Instagram featuring the entire championship roster.

Mozgov played eight total NBA seasons, peaking as a vital starting center during Cleveland’s championship window. Known for his size and interior defense, the center also played for the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Brooklyn Nets during his injury-riddled career.

This disconnect describes how team dynamics shift a decade after achieving NBA immortality.
