Sunday NBA action was marked by two double doubles coming from European players, as Rudy Gobert and Jonas Valanciunas led Jazz and Raptors to respective wins.
Utah Jazz beat Memphis Grizzles 82-73 and for the winners, Rudy Gobert had a double double of 21 points and 12 rebounds in 38 minutes, while also French teammate and center Boris Diaw scored 11 points and 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. For Grizzles, Spanish center Marc Gasol finished the game with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
Toronto Raptors beat Orlando Magic 109-79 and Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas reached a double double of 16 points and 13 rebounds in 26 minutes. For Magic, French guard Evan Fournier scored 15 points in 26 minutes, Nikola Vucevic had 10 points and 9 rebounds, while Croatian Mario Hezonja stayed at 5 points in 7 minutes.
Philadelphia 76ers beat Brooklyn Nets 105-106 and Spanish guard Sergio Rodriguez was a starter for the winners, ending the game with 9 points and 5 assists in 23 minutes. Croatian teammate Dario Saric had 7 points and 8 rebounds coming from the bench. For Nets, Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic scored 14 points in 25 minutes.
San Antonio Spurs prevailed 100-113 over New Orleans Pelicans and for the winners, Manu Ginobili finished the game with 17 points, Pau Gasol with 14 rebounds and 7 points.
Polish center Marcin Gortat had 9 points and 7 rebounds in the Washington Wizards‘ win over the the Los Angeles Clippers with 110-117. His Czech teammate Tomas Satoransky had 2 assists in 8 minutes.
Sacramento Kings fell to Dallas Mavericks 79-99. For Kings, Greek center Kosta Koufos had 6 points and 7 rebounds in 23 minutes.
