The Nets beat the Atlanta Hawks 116-104 who got 19 points by Italian sharpshooter Marco Belinelli. Atlanta point guard Dennis Schroeder, who scored 17, went down with a left ankle injury with 3:37 left and had to be helped off the court.
Turk Ersan Ilyasova added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the Hawks. For the winners, Russian center Timofey Mozgov finished the night with 6 points and 5 rebounds.
The Minnesota Timberwolves got the 115-113 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder thanks to a half-court buzzer beater by Andrew Wiggins. Serb Nemanja Bjelica scored three points for the Wolves, while Spaniard Alex Abrines had four for the Thunder.
The Pelicans beat the Lakers 199-112 as Anthony Davis (27 p. 17 r.) had an impressive double-double and no European player was used in the game.
