Xavi Pascual is ending his five-year tenure with Zenit Saint Petersburg, closing a chapter that brought the Russian club big success.

During his time in charge, Pascual led Zenit to its first four trophies — a VTB United League title, two Super Cups, and a Russian Cup. He was named VTB Coach of the Year twice and guided the team to the EuroLeague Quarterfinals in his debut season, narrowly losing to Barcelona in Game 5.

Zenit also set a VTB League record with 25 straight wins and achieved its first-ever stretch of sold-out home games, reflecting Pascual’s strong impact both on and off the court.

His departure marks the end of a golden era for Zenit, as the club now looks to the future after five memorable seasons under the Spanish coach.
