The year 2021 in the Basketball Champions League started off with nine games as two more teams secured playoff tickets.
Casademont Zaragoza and Iberostar Tenerife joined Brose Bamberg as the clubs to have clinched a spot. The Spaniards came out on top against Nizhny Novgorod after overtime while Tenerife held off Dinamo Sassari.
ERA Nymburk didn’t advance but they made a big step toward it and in a convincing fashion as they dismantled JDA Dijon by 40 points.
Tofas and Falco stayed competitive with their respective wins while the most complicated situation ended up being in Group C where all teams have a chance with one Gameday left to be played.
