Leonard tied the game at 82 with 4.9 seconds remaining with a step-back, 15-foot jumper over JaMychal Green. Zach Randolph followed with a 12-foot, turnaround jumper 2.2 seconds later before LaMarcus Aldridge put in a layup off an inbounds pass from Pau Gasol with 1.6 seconds left.

“I had to look for Kawhi first, and if he was open obviously I was going to hit him,” Gasol said. “(Leonard) attracts a lot of attention, as we all could see from that play. And then LaMarcus was wide open so I had to put it over the top right where he could just lay it up. So it worked out well.” The Spaniard added 12 points and 11 rebounds against his brother Marc, who came back from injury and had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Frenchman Tony Parker had 10 points and 7 assists for the winners.

Gordon Hayward scored 30 points and Frenchman Rudy Gobert added 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 106-87 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers as Bosnian Jusef Nurkic (leg) missed his third consecutive game. Frenchman Boris Diaw added 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.

Thanks to this result the Nuggets pulled to a half-game out of the Western Conference’s final playoff spot which for the moment belongs to Portland with a 134-131 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Serb Nikola Jokic had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Italian Danilo Gallinari scored 28 points. Frenchman Alexis Ajinca had 2 rebounds for the losing side.

Last but not least, Russell Westbrook matched Oscar Robertson’s single-season record with his 41st triple-double. Westbrook finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists to help the Thunder beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-79. Turk Enes Kanter scored 17 points for the Thunder, who posted their largest victory margin of the season. Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis had 11 points and 5 rebounds, while Spaniard Alex Abrines scored 12 points in 12 minutes. Greek Giannis Antetokounmpo added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks and Bosnian Mirza Teletovic had 5 points. Here’s the rest of last night’s results and the euro-scorers.
