Eric Gordon scored 29 points off the bench, James Harden had 26 points and 10 assists and Swiss big man Clint Capela had eight points and 17 rebounds. Capela once more proved to be a key factor as the Rockets still have the best record in the League.
Lonzo Ball hit a career-best six 3-pointers, Julius Randle had 25 points and the Lakers rallied in the final two minutes to beat the San Antonio Spurs 116-112 despite an amazing game by Pau Gasol. The Spanish star finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
French Rudy Gobert had another double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, Spaniard Ricky Rubio added 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and the Utah Jazz beat the Kings 98-91. Serb Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 15 points for the losing side.
Another Frenchman, Evan Fournier, broke a tie on a long 3-pointer with 22.5 seconds left and the Magic got the 107-100 victory that stretched the Memphis Grizzlies‘ losing streak to 13 games.
Fournier added two free throws with 8.2 seconds remaining to finish with 19 points. Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic also scored 19 for Orlando. Croatian Mario Hezonja added 16 points, while Marc Gasol didn’t play for the Grizzlies.
