The Oklahoma City Thunder are on to the Western Conference finals, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 115-110 and completing a 4-0 sweep.

Still without Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic, the Lakers couldn’t get a win in the second round of the playoffs against the defending champions.

Oklahoma City finished the game on a 28-18 run, as Canadian Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 35 points and eight assists, while Belgian Ajay Mitchell added 28 points.

German big man Isaiah Hartenstein added five points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals for the winning side.

Austin Reaves had a team-high 27 points for the Lakers, and Rui Hachimura added 25 points. LeBron James had 24 points plus 12 rebounds and may have played his last NBA game.

Donovan Michell with 39 second-half points

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Detroit Pistons 112-103 to tie their second-round series in East with the Detroit Pistons at 2-2, as Donovan Mitchell made history.

Mitchell recorded one of the best scoring halves in NBA playoff history, matching a league record with 39 points in the second half.

Mitchell finished the game with 43 points, and his second-half performance tied a record set by former Golden State Warriors guard Eric “Sleepy” Floyd in 1987 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Mitchell had an opportunity to break the record, but he missed a free throw with 27.6 seconds remaining.

German point guard Dennis Schroder added seven points for the Cavs, while Caris LeVert, with 24 points off the bench, was the top scorer of the Pistons.
