After a tight first half, Partizan Mozzart Bet pulls away to capture the AdmiralBet ABA League championship

In a sold-out Belgrade Arena, Partizan Mozzart Bet routed Buducnost VOLI, 90-75, to win the 2024-25 edition of the AdmiralBet ABA League.

Prevailing 3-1 in a best-of-five championship series secured an eighth title in the regional league and broke a tie with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet at the top of the all-time list.

Five players scored in double-digits, including Sterling Brown and Brandon Davies sharing a team-high 18 points. Carlik Jones chipped in 17 points and nine assists. Isaac Bonga and Gabriel Iffe Lundberg put in 13 points apiece.

Averaging 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest, Tyrique Jones was named Most Valuable Player of the Finals.

On the wrong end of Game 4, a game-high 23 points belonged to Yogi Ferrell. McKinley Wright IV lasted only two minutes due to injury.

French import Frank Ntilikina was a late scratch for the Belgrade outfit on Thursday, joining Mario Nakic on the list of injured players for head coach Zeljko Obradovic.

The 2024-25 campaign continues with the AdmiralBet Basketball League of Serbia Playoffs, with Partizan and Zvezda entering directly in the Semifinals to face FMP Soccerbet and Spartak Office Shoes, respectively, in a best-of-three series.
