As the squads get accustomed to various playstyles and find their own, more and more players will start showing off what they’re really made of. The fourth week of the Basketball Champions League was filled with clutch and high-scoring performances across Europe.

Nicolas De Jong logged the highest-scoring performance this week with 35 points in EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez’s comeback road win over San Pablo Burgos, their first in BCL. Suleiman Braimoh also had a huge outing with 33 points on 13-14 shooting as Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem routed Anwil Wloclawek.

Dwayne Evans and Jason Rich also had big games with 29 and 25 points respectively as did a couple more guys but the clutchest of them all was David Holston’s. Holston scored ‘only’ 17 points but he drained three contested shots from deep in the crunch time to push JDA Dijon past PAOK.
