Eurohoops Showcase returns in June 2024 to the Eurohoops Dome with David Rivers

After the success of the Eurohoops Showcase in the summer of 2023, the second event is coming in June 2024 at the Eurohoops Dome

The Eurohoops Organization presents for the second consecutive year the Eurohoops Showcase, a basketball camp for young athletes between 15 and 19 years of age. The Eurohoops Showcase 2024 will take place over three days in June 14-16 at the Eurohoops Dome, under the shield of the Greek Basketball Federation.

The official guest and partner of Eurohoops Showcase 2024 is David Rivers. The Eurohoops Showcase is part of the Eurohoops Colleges activities, the new college basketball prep program, which covers the whole spectrum from basketball preparation, language/academic preparation, necessary and time-consuming procedural acts, placement to mentorship sessions. Through the Eurohoops Showcase, athletes from all over Europe can develop their skills, showcase their talent and “unlock” all their athletic and academic potential.

The first edition of the Eurohoops Showcase in June 2023 was held with great success, hosting talented and ambitious athletes from 11 European countries and international coaches with extensive experience in basketball development. Partner of the Eurohoops Showcase in its first edition was David Rivers, the MVP of the 1997 Final Four in Rome, the man who led Olympiacos to its first European title and the only triple crown to date. The impact he had on the athletes in his first contact with the Eurohoops Organization was more than impressive. The legendary player of the European courts and a direct partner of the organization for the Eurohoops Colleges program will be back for the second edition.

The three-day program includes skill development exercises, 5×5 games, ergo-metric evaluation, video recording of the games and a scouting report for each athlete. At the same time, the athletes will have the opportunity to receive video highlights, which can also be used through Eurohoops Colleges. The cost of participation is divided into four packages, depending on the needs of accommodation, transport and the services offered.

Within the framework of the cooperation with the Greek basketball federation, the Eurohoops Showcase 2024 will also feature select teams of local divisions ESKA/ESKANA/ESKASE U15, U16 and U17.
